Before school

Our school gates open at 8:00am each day.

Children who arrive at school between 8:00am and 8.30 am can move to our breakfast club area where food is provided thanks to the generous donations of our community partners.  Children are supervised in this area between 8.00 am and 8.30 am

At 8:30am all students  attend morning parade in their class groups.  Morning parade is a chance for messages to be relayed and students to participate and set a positive tone for the school day to support student success.

Students are supervised to move from the hall and ensure they are in their classrooms and learning has commenced by 8:50am.

After school

Prep Gate: Prep, year 1 and 2 students be collected from the Prep gate by their parents or caregivers.

Main Gate: Students catching buses, or those in year 3-6, are asked to exit through the main gate.  Parents may enter the seating area adjacent to the main gate to collect their child from 2:50pm.

Bike Gate: Students riding bikes or scooters exit through the main staff carpark.

The last school bell for the day rings at 3.10 pm. For children who are still at school when the 3.10 pm bell rings. there is no formal supervision after this bell.

Our onsite OSHC is available for parents wishing to book in their children for care outside school hours.

School assembly

A whole school assembly is held from 2:20pm fortnightly on Friday afternoons. When possible, our assembly is live streamed and parents and community members are able to view the live stream which is posted to our Facebook External link page prior to commencement.

At 2:20pm the assembly begins, led by our elected Student Leaders.  There are a range of regular presentations at each assembly: Superstar Student of the Week,  Role Model Recognition, Musical Merit and Specialist Class Awards are presented.  News about important school events, attendance and a musical performances by the school band or strings ensemble are also part of our parade.
